The items bought from Sephora.com or received as a gift can only be returned. You don’t have to pay any return shipping or handling fees for Sephora locations or you can use pre-paid return shipping label. The Sephora doesn’t refund your original shipping charges, only if it is a mistake done by Sephora.

Sephora took two weeks of time to process your item sent by mail. Customer will receive mail once the return was processed.

When a customer returns the product via mail to Sephora.com within 60 days of purchase, you will get a full refund. If you paid with your debit or credit card then you will get a refund of purchase price in your debit or credit card. If you paid with PayPal then you will refund in your PayPal account.

The Sephora.com receive your return item within 61-90 days of purchase and if you paid with Sephora gift card or online store credit or PayPal account and Sephora receive it by mail within 90 days of purchase, the customer receives a refund in the form of online store credit and it may be redeemed at Sephora.com.

Sephora Return Policy Guide

If someone purchased from Sephora.com and returned in store, then by mail, get a refund only if returned within 60 days of purchase. The refund is received in your credit or debit card. If you had paid with PayPal, will receive a full refund in store credit or gift card.

The items purchased on Sephora.com and not returned by mail, will not be refunded after the 90 days of purchase date. The items which shipped Sephora outside of the returns window or not in new or gently used condition, without a receipt, not purchased at Sephora may not be credited back.

Sephora.com does not exchange items by mail.

Sephora Return Procedures

When return item by mail, fill out both side of return form and attached to order summary and attach the return form with an item. Also include your name, e-mail address and phone number.

Package your item in manufacture’s product box and Sephora packaging (if available) or pack your item in a well-padded box to avoid damage during transit.

Print the return label from here and mail with USPS.

A customer receives an e-mail confirmation when your return is processed.

It will take two weeks to process the return and credit your account or issue an online store credit.

Sephora.com Return to Store Locations

Visit any free-standing Sephora store to return a purchased item from Sephora.com within 60 days of purchase.

When you visit the Sephora store, bring the order summary and return form with you and credit card that you used to make payment.

If a customer purchased with JCPenny credit card, the free-standing Sephora store will offer a gift card or an exchange. Return your item to a Sephora inside JCPenny store to receive a full refund on your JCPenny card.

If a purchase made with PayPal account, the free-standing Sephora store will offer a gift card, store credit or an exchange. The Sephora stores are unable to process a refund to your PayPal account.

Sephora Gift Returns

When you returning a Sephora gift that you received by mail and do not want a refund to go to purchase, before mail the return call on 1-877-737-4672 to set-up the gift return in your account.

Check the “I am returning a gift” box in the return form and give the reason for return as “5-Gift”. Fill the information of your name, e-mail address and phone number. The refund will be in online store credit that can be used at Sephora.com or you may call at 1-877-737-4672 to redeem your online store credit.

Sephora Return Policy For In-Store Purchases

With the Sephora In-Store purchases, the customer may return merchandise within 60 days of the purchase date with a receipt or gift receipt at a store location for a refund in the same mode of payment.

Note that Sephora did not accept mail returns that purchased from the store location.

After 60 day returns, the customer will get store credit for Sephora merchandise credit.

Important note, the Sephora merchandise credit does not have an expiry date, cannot be redeemed for cash (unless required by law), reloaded, transferred to others, or sold and can only be used at Sephora stores ( not at Sephora.com or through customer service). Sephora merchandise credit will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
