The customers who bought products from Lowe’s and Lowes.com both can return item(s) to Lowe’s stores within 90 days of purchase. The outdoor power equipment and appliance return within 30 days of purchase. For more information, visit your nearest Lowe’s store or call on 1-800-44-LOWES (56937).

The outdoor power equipment and major appliance have 30 days to return from purchase date, with original receipt. In the outdoor power equipment mowers, chainsaws, generators, pressure washers are included. The major appliances include refrigerators 9 cubic feet or larger, washing machines, dryers, range hoods etc. The Lowe’s will repair it, replace it or may refund the purchase price on the same method of payment.

The winter holiday seasonal items must be returned on or before December 31 of the same holiday season. There is no return for holiday seasonal items after January 1. The 30-day return on major appliance (includes but not limited to refrigerator 9 cubic feet or larger, washing machines, dryers and range hoods), outdoor power equipment (include but not limited to mowers, chain saws, generators, pressure washers, trimmers, and blowers) and highway trailers.

The Highway trailers must return in an original state of purchase with original paperwork.

The product must be in new condition to get a full refund. The items are under manufacturer’s warranty will be repaired at free of cost. If the repairs are not under manufacturer’s warranty, customers have to pay for it.

To return items for in-store, contact center, Lowes.com, and LoweForPros.com purchases, a receipt is not required for most times if you provide MyLowe’s card or the credit card tendered on the original purchase.

If you paid cash or check for in-store purchase, a receipt is not required for it if you provided a phone number at the time of checkout.

Lowe’s provide prepaid parcel-shipped merchandise returns for many items on Lowes.com and LowesForPros.com. If this prepaid option is available for your item, you will receive a prepaid return slip with your item.

To return or exchange your item with our centralized parcel return facility, follow below steps.

  • Place an item in the sturdy shipping package.
  • Include the only item that has prepaid return slip, do not include other items purchased from Lowe’s.
  • Include all the manufacturer’s original packing materials, manuals and accessories.
  • Detach, complete and include the return slip with the shipment.
  • Paste the shipping label on the package.
  • Drop off your parcel to your local parcel carrier or drop it off at any carrier location (store, terminal or Dropbox).

Note: The original shipping charges incurred on your purchases are not refunded as part of your return or exchange.

If you don’t have a return slip and shipping label, visit your local Lowe’s store to make the return.
